The Health & Safety at Work Act (HSWA) states that one aspect of ensuring that employees can carry out work safely is making sure that employees have adequate knowledge, experience and training. These course ensures your company is legislatively compliant, and your staff will have been trained to the relevant Best Practices and guidelines related to Forklift machinery operations. Our courses promote the safe use of Forklifts and ensures the operator is competent in it’s use.
Forklift Silvercard Courses are available throughout New Zealand and offer the following courses:

- Attachments – US 10852
- Man Cage – US 18409
Our Forklift courses are designed to deliver essential safety and compliance information. Attendees will gain theoretical knowledge and practical skills in:
- Health and Safety Legislative Requirements
- Types of forklifts and their components
- Forklift principles and physics
- Identifying and Managing Hazards
- Conduct pre and post operational checks
- Forklift attachments
- Interpreting Load Charts
- Safe Operation of a Forklift
- Theory & Practical assessments, observation and demonstration.
Upon successful completion of the course your assessor will report the achieved Unit Standards so that these are registered on your NZQA Record of Achievement. You will then receive an email with instructions on how to download the Silvercard App. Add your license details to the App and use this as proof of training and competency.
